At Capital Portraits, the process of commissioning a portrait is convenient and straightforward. From the initial inquiry to the final delivery, the process typically takes several weeks or months, depending on the chosen medium and the complexity of the project.

You can get started by contacting us with your inquiry or visiting our gallery for a consultation. Once you have decided on the style and medium for your desired portrait, we can arrange sitting for a portrait painting or provide us with a high-resolution photo of your choice as well as have a photograph taken in our gallery.

To secure the artist's time and materials for your project, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon commissioning. Upon delivery of the commissioned work, you have the option to request desired adjustments.

Please note that framing is available for an additional charge, but it is optional.
